Medium Flex: The Lashed boots rock the Team fit and a medium flex ideal for most snowboarders. A snowboard boot’s flex is responsible for communicating your movements to the board. A soft flex is forgiving and a stiff flex is ultra responsive. The Lashed’s medium flex is both comfortable and reactive, providing a balance of support and maneuverability. This makes it suitable for a wide range of riding styles and terrain.
Double BOA Closure System: The Dual BOA Closure System featuring BOA’s new TX3 lace, is easy to adjust for the support you need at the moment. The Double BOA, is quick and concise, allowing for precise and on-the-fly adjustments. This system enables riders to customize the fit and support of the boot to their preference. For resort riding, I prefer to have the lower foot BOA looser and crank on the top BOA for ankle support.

While not ThirtyTwo’s most aggressive outsole option (see their TM-2 boot), this grippy rubber works for icy parking lots and boot packs. The outsole provides reliable grip and traction in various conditions. I easily booted up 1,300 vertical feet of Glory without any friction issues.

Team Fit: The Team Fit is designed for all-around performance and comfort. The footbed is part of this ThirtyTwo’s right out of the box comfort that most of their boots offer.
Heel Hold Kit: The Heel Hold Kit is an excellent addition to the fit of these boots. I did a boot pack up Glory before and after adding a Heel Hold and appreciated the hold. This feature enhances heel retention, minimizing slippage and improving responsiveness.
I have been really impressed with how the ThirtyTwo Lashed Double Boa B4BC Boots ($349.99) perform. The Lashed boot’s medium flex makes for a fun ride being both comfortable and responsive. The medium flex of the Lashed Double BOA strikes a sweet spot, offering enough support for carving and charging while remaining forgiving enough for freestyle riding and navigating challenging terrain. The Double BOA system allows for quick and easy adjustments, ensuring a snug and comfortable fit throughout the day. The Performance Rubber Outsole provides reliable grip for hiking and navigating icy patches.
The ThirtyTwo TM-2 Double BOA fit true to size length-wise but run tight width-wise. My E-Width feet went to sleep without heat molding them. I couldn’t heat mold em because they were demo boots. The wides run a little too wide for me. I could get these to fit my E-width feet with some pretty aggressive heat molding, but it will be close. What I mean is I would have to put boot-fitting foam on the sides of my snowboard sock, a toe cap, and then put a thin liner over the sock to hold it all in place. This has a medium stiff flex, and the response was a touch behind the flex rating, but I liked the predictable, smooth feel to them. However, you won’t lose too much of the flex/response over time because this is well-built. There is an articulating cuff, and a rubber back stays pretty solid construction. It will hold its flex very well. I really appreciated the separate upper/lower Double BOA. If you are super into heel hold, there are better boots, but this does have a way to increase the tightness with these heel hold inserts. I do prefer the reliability and extra adjustability of the TM-2 Lace. If your BOA breaks, you must have these Strapins in your pocket to keep you going that day. But after that day, it can often take a local shop or ThirtyTwo a while to repair your BOAs. I was pretty impressed with the ThirtyTwo TM-2 Double BOA’s shock absorption. There is rubber strategically placed throughout the sole but I really wish ThirtyTwo gave this a full rubber sole. I’m impressed with ThirtyTwo’s footprint and it’s very close to Burton. Overall, the ThirtyTwo TM-2 Double BOA is a very well-built boot. If these ran a little wider and had a full rubber sole, they would be unstoppable.
